A Pool Sales Consultant is responsible for providing customers with expert advice and assistance in the selection, design, and purchase of a swimming pool and related products and services. Duties include meeting with customers, assessing their needs and preferences, providing product and design recommendations, preparing cost estimates and proposals, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, knowledge of pool construction and design, and experience in sales.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to assess their needs and preferences for a swimming pool and related products and services.
• Provide expert advice and assistance in the selection, design, and purchase of a swimming pool and related products and services.
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals for customers and present them in a clear and professional manner.
• Close sales by answering customer questions and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service and follow-up support.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements, and continue to educate oneself on products and services offered.
• Participate in sales and marketing efforts, such as trade shows and promotional events.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth sales process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Continuously work to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
• Follow up on incoming leads to build a relationship with the client and create a design that meets budget and needs

Qualifications

• 5 years plus in general sales
• Knowledge of swimming pool construction and design, and experience in the swimming pool industry or construction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide expert advice and assistance.
• Structure Studios VIP3D experience a plus
• Ability to prepare cost estimates and proposals, and present them in a clear and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field is a plus.

• A person who is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
